Friday Night Lights

Friday 16th December
Orduspor 0 - Galatasaray 2

Galatasaray maintained their position at the top of the table with a win over Orduspor who have now lost 6 games on the bounce.
An excellent cross from the right wing by English born Colin Kazim-Richards was spilled by the goalkeeper and a well placed Milan Baros slotted home from just outside the six yard box to secure the first goal. Orduspor did have a couple of good opportunities early on with Emmaual Culio, who is currently on loan from Galatasaray, having the best of those. Galatasaray were soon able to take control of the midfield though and begin to create more opportunities. Baros was by far the best player on the pitch as his strength and power caused the Orduspor defence all sorts of problems making up for the appalling performance by his strike partner Johan Elmander. A great pass from just outside the box by Baros took out the ragged Orduspor back line and with Kazim-Richards lashing in a low shot through the keepers legs Galatasaray secured the 3 points.
